My Hobby
I like painting very much. When I was young， I drew flowers and animals. Now I study in a junior middle school. I still love drawing pictures.
Last month， my mother asked me， “Do you like painting， Shari？” My English name is Shari.
“Yes， I do.”
“Do you want more color pencils？”
“Yes， of course I do.”
Last weekend， my mother and I went shopping. She bought some new color pencils for me. I like the pencils very much and drew some new pictures.
I don’t like math because it is very difficult and boring. I usually draw pictures in math classes. Today when math class was over， our math teacher Mr. Zhang said to me， “Your paintings are beautiful. But you should study math as hard as art.”
Mr. Zhang helps me with math. When I listen carefully， I find math is as interesting as art.

我非常喜欢画画。小时候我画花和动物，现在我读中学了，我仍然热爱画画。
上个月，妈妈问我：“你喜欢画画吗，莎莉？”我的英文名是莎莉。
“是的，我喜欢。”
“你想要更多的彩色铅笔吗？”
“是的，当然啦。”
上个周末，我和妈妈去购物。她给我买了新的彩铅。我很喜欢，并且画了几张新的画。
我不喜欢数学，因为数学又难又枯燥。上数学课时我常常画画。今天数学课结束的时候，数学老师张老师对我说：“你的画很漂亮，但是你应该像学美术一样努力学好数学。”
张老师帮我补习数学。当我认真听讲时，我发现数学和美术一样有趣。
