中南民族大学化学工程学科始建于1998年,由化学学科中化工原理课程群及教育部专业规范前的工业分析专业发展而成。经过十五年的快速发展,在能源催化、环境工程、仿生催化、民族药和功能材料等方面取得了较大的进展和学术影响力。化学工程学科现有专职教师83名,其中教授22人,副教授30人,讲师31名;享受国务院特殊津贴专家2名,国家民委领军人才1人,教育部新世纪人才3名,湖北省政府津贴专家3名,湖北省突出贡献专家2名,湖北省跨世纪学术带头人1名,楚天学者计划7名,湖北省新世纪高层次人才2名,40岁以下教师均有博士学位和国外留学经历;形成了一支年龄和职称结构合理、学术造诣较深的导师团队。同时,聘请了25名化工相关行业精英
Chemistry Engineering, Central South University for Nationalities was founded in 1998, by the chemical discipline in the chemical engineering courses and the Ministry of Education before the professional norms of industrial analysis professional development.
