栽苹果的人都希望获得早实、丰产。然而,有不少果园新栽的苹果树,7～8年生仍不结果,有的少量结果,12～13年生也不能丰产。原因何在?一句话,就是未按科学办事,没有充分了解和掌握苹果树整个生命周期中,各个年龄阶段的生长.发育特性,管理措施不当,或管理技术施用不适。苹果幼树结果早晚与哪些因素有关呢?概括起来,有如下几点:
