现在,瑜伽已是一种十分流行的健身运动,人们对瑜伽功的了解也越来越多。其实这种源于印度的古老运动,在世界各地风行已有多年,传到我国也就是近几年的事。但据有关人士介绍说,现在很多人存在着对瑜伽的一个认知误区,认为瑜伽只是追求身体的柔韧性,是女性健体塑身的一种运动。事实上,作为一种十分有效的有氧健身运动,瑜伽不应是女性的专利,男性同样也可以练习瑜伽。在国外,尤其是瑜伽的发源地印度,男性练瑜伽是一个很普遍的现象,并且练瑜伽达到一定境界的高人基本上都是男性,印度籍的瑜伽教练有不少是男性。许多人在接触瑜伽后,都觉得这是一种身心合一的运动,很像中国人说的“天人合一”。如果你只是被瑜伽动作表面的柔性所迷惑,对很多男性而言无疑是一大损失。
