江苏省教委于1995年12月3日至7日,在古城徐州,召开了全省中小学语文教学改革成果汇报会。来自全省各地以及山东、安徽、河南、浙江、河北等部分省市的2千余名代表,出席了这次规模空前的盛会。会议期间,代表们分别观摩了由11个省辖市推荐的中小学各12节语文教改汇报课,参观了徐州市语文教改成果汇报现场,听取了省教委副主任周德藩的题为《加大贯彻南通会议精神力度,努力提高中小学语文教学质量》的重要报告。11个省辖市教育行政部门的负责同志也到会介绍了
From December 3rd to 7th, 1995, the Education Commission of Jiangsu Province held a report meeting on the results of language teaching reform in primary and secondary schools in the ancient city of Xuzhou. More than 2,000 representatives from all parts of the province and from some provinces and cities including Shandong, Anhui, Henan, Zhejiang and Hebei attended this unprecedented event. During the conference, delegates watched 12 Chinese and 12 primary and secondary school language reform reporting classes recommended by 11 provinces and municipalities. They visited the report on the results of language teaching reform in Xuzhou City, and heard the deputy director of the Provincial Education Commission Zhou Dezhao entitled “Intensifying Implementation”. An important report on the spirit of Nantong Conference and efforts to improve the quality of Chinese teaching in primary and secondary schools. Responsible comrades of the education administrative departments of 11 provinces and municipalities also attended the conference.
