十月二十日至二十七日,联合国工业发展组织和中国政府合作在北京联合召开了发展中国家发展农机工业经验交流和合作会议。参加会议的有来自五大洲三十五个国家的九十多名代表。这是在我国召开的第一次较大规模的国际性农机工业会议。这次会议的主要目的是交流发展农机工业的经验,探讨开展广泛合作的可能性,制定具体的合作建议,促进发展中国家农机工业的迅速发展。会议选举联合国工业发展组织农机工业特设工作组副主席、谈判处长哈希尼和中国农机部科学技术委员会副主任陈乃隆为大会主席。中国机械委员会副主任以及外交部、外经部的有关同志参加了开幕式。联合国开发计划署驻华办事处主任夏龙参加了开幕式等
From October 20 to 27, the United Nations Industrial Development Organization and the Chinese government jointly held a meeting on the exchange and cooperation in developing agricultural machinery in developing countries in Beijing. More than 90 delegates from 35 countries on five continents attended the meeting. This is the first large-scale international agricultural machinery industry conference held in our country. The main purpose of this meeting is to exchange experience in the development of agricultural machinery industry, discuss the possibility of extensive cooperation and formulate specific cooperation proposals to promote the rapid development of agricultural machinery industry in developing countries. The meeting elected Vice-Chairman of UNIDO Ad Hoc Working Group on Farm Machinery Industry, Negotiator Director Hassini and Chen Nailong, deputy director of the Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology Commission of Agricultural Machinery, as the chairman of the meeting. The deputy director of China Machinery Committee and the relevant comrades of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Foreign Economy attended the opening ceremony.
