随着Internet/Intranet的迅速发展,Web数据库技术越来越受到人们的重视。在传统的HTML页面中,访问数据库一般是通过公共网关接口(CGI)技术来实现的,这种方法虽然投资少,但开发困难,而且当发生多个并发请求时,会浪费服务器的宝贵资源。而微软的Microsoft IIS 3.0和4.0版本中提供的2种Web数据库解决方案:IDC(Internet Database Connector)和ASP(Active Server Pages)则使开发者在网上建立数据库的工作变得非常轻松,不失为目前较为成熟而便利的开发工具。本文将通过实例对这2种方法进行详细分析。
With the rapid development of Internet / Intranet, Web database technology is getting more and more attention.
