From October 17 to October 22, 2013, the 2013 Annual Conference of Chinese Geological Society was held in Kunming. The theme of the conference was “Promoting Geological Scientific and Technological Innovation, Supporting Prospecting for Mining, Serving the Beautiful China”. More than 1,000 experts and scholars from institutions of higher learning, scientific research institutes and geological prospecting institutes of the national geological survey industry attended the opening ceremony and listened to the academic report of the conference.
