儒家思想与法家思想分为三部分:礼与法,德与刑,以礼入法。礼与法都是统治者不可缺少的统治工具,儒家之礼强调人社会地位、家庭地位的不同,应受礼的不同的调整,强调伦常观念。而法家之法强调客观性,强调法律的客观标准性,对儒家思想对人地位的划分既不肯定亦不否认。中国的复仇制度起源时间无法计算,但在西周时已形具完备。西周之前原始社会的血族复仇更无需赘言。
Confucianism and Legalism are divided into three parts: courtesy and law, morality and punishment, courtesy of law. Etiquette and law are both indispensable rulers of rulers.
