This paper introduces the problems faced in the design of the positioning control system of shipboard A1 tablet plotter and the main technical approaches that can be used to solve these problems. The basic structure of the system, the strategy of reducing the tracking error and the method of resisting the strong torque disturbance are discussed in detail, and the practical effects of the given technology are verified by MATLAB.
