灰尘手印是刑事案件现场常见的痕迹之一,对于这类痕迹,通常多采用拍照方法提取,然而拍照方法也仅限于那些反差较大有立体感的灰尘手印。对于一些肉眼难以看见的反差极小又几乎接近平面的灰尘手印,用照相法提取就很难达到理想的效果,致使许多刑事案件现场的灰尘手印不能得到有效的利用,给侦察案件造成困难。近几年研究出用硫氰酸气体熏显法来加大灰尘手印的反差,在实践中收到一定效果,
