清末民初的新加坡华文报刊具有很强的时代性,其对19世纪末20世纪初海外华人的生活进行了细致入微而又立体多维的观照。从族群认同角度,反映了不同时期华人对于国家认同观的变迁。文章从华文报刊的社会功能入手,着重考察华文报刊上体现出的不同时期华人对民族文化和身分问题的不同认识,指出在文化多元的新加坡,族群认同的发展从单向同化走向流动复合的过程。
The late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China Singaporean Chinese newspapers and periodicals have a very strong epoch. They carried out nuanced and three-dimensional multidimensional observations of the overseas Chinese in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. From the perspective of ethnic identity, it reflects the changes of Chinese attitudes towards state identity in different periods. Starting from the social functions of Chinese newspapers and periodicals, the article focuses on the different understandings of ethnic Chinese in different periods from the Chinese press on ethnic cultures and identity issues. It points out that in a multi-cultural Singapore, the development of ethnic identity moves from unidirectional assimilation to mobile compounding .
