主位述位理论是研究语篇衔接与连贯的一大功能体系。本文利用主位推进模式对一篇文章进行分析,从而说明在英语阅读中主位推进模式的重要性以及对英语阅读教学的启示。
The thematic quotation theory is a major functional system that studies the cohesion and coherence of texts. This article uses the Thematic Progression to analyze an article to illustrate the importance of Thematic Progression in English reading and its implications for English reading teaching.
