据台湾报纸报道,山东莱州市光明村近年来大规模引进国外资金和技术,建成以莱州市光明铅笔芯有限公司为龙头的名牌铅笔芯生产和出口企业群体。到目前为止,年产各类铅芯45亿支以上,铅笔近2亿支。1995年出口铅笔芯2,400万萝,创汇209万美元,占亚洲出口总量的70％以上,成为亚洲最大的铅笔总出口商。 从1987年以来,光明铅笔芯有限公司把目光瞄准了国际市场,与香港普乐新（中国）装饰工程公司建成了全中国铅笔总行业第一家中外合资企业,引进国外先进管理方法、技术工艺、检测设备,并取得了产品进入国际市场的“通行证”。近3年以来该公司自筹资金1,200多万元,对企业进行了三次大规模扩产改造,使产销量连年倍增。同时,还成立中外合资“莱州市宏光铅笔材料有限公司”、“莱州市光达文化用品有限公司”,莱州市制笔总厂、莱州市光明高级铅笔专用漆有限公司。 为了适应国际铅笔芯市场需求,他们研制出HB组、绘图、彩色铅笔芯三大系列、55个规格品种,通过省级验收鉴定,达到国际同类产品先进水平。出口的“光明牌”、“黎明牌”铅笔芯取得了中国技术质量监督部门工业产品采用国际标准证书。到目前为止,这个村5家铅笔芯企业已能够生产7大系列135个规格品种产品,产品复盖全球五大洲35个国家和地区。
