在西北农村,因受教育资源和英语学科特征的共同影响,英语教学成为其教育发展的重要制约因素。其英语教学存在的主要问题是:教学方法单一,教学手段比较落后;英语语音欠标准;课堂教学效率低下;教学环境有待改善。据此,提高西北农村英语教学有效性的对策为:加大英语教学投入,运用现代信息技术提高教学效率;促进英语教师专业发展;培养学生英语学习兴趣;重视口语教学;营造良好的英语教学环境。
In the northwestern rural areas, due to the common influence of educational resources and characteristics of English subjects, English teaching has become an important constraint on the development of its education. The main problems in English teaching are: single teaching method, backward teaching methods; under-standard English pronunciation; inefficient classroom teaching; and the teaching environment needs to be improved. Accordingly, the countermeasures to improve the effectiveness of English teaching in rural Northwest China are as follows: increasing investment in English teaching, using modern information technology to improve teaching efficiency; promoting professional development of English teachers; cultivating students’ interests in English learning; emphasizing oral English teaching; creating a good English teaching environment .
