过冷大水滴(SLD)结冰探测是飞机结冰探测与防护领域内研究热点。通过对过冷大水滴的大惯性、高温度、后流现象等特性的分析,提出后流特性检测的SLD结冰探测方法。采用有限体积法进行数值研究,分析了水滴的运动轨迹、撞击特性及结冰动力学特性,对其结冰机理进行了数值模拟与验证。针对冻结系数问题,提出两种结冰探测器构型并进行数值模拟研究。结果表明小水滴和SLD在探测器上的结冰区域有较大差异,经检测探头上的结冰区域可以识别SLD结冰,且该构型在一定程度上解决了冻结系数问题。
Supercooled water droplet (SLD) icing detection is a hot research topic in the field of aircraft icing detection and protection. Based on the analysis of large inertia, high temperature and after-flow phenomenon of the supercooled water droplet, a method of SLD icing detection based on backflow characteristics was proposed. The finite volume method was used to conduct numerical study. The movement trajectory, impact characteristics and icing dynamics of water droplets were analyzed. The icing mechanism was numerically simulated and verified. According to the problem of freezing coefficient, two kinds of icing detector configurations are proposed and numerical simulation is carried out. The results show that there is a big difference between the ice droplet and the SLD on the detector ice area. The icing area on the detection probe can identify the SLD icing, and the configuration solves the freezing coefficient to a certain extent.
