Objective To detect the expression of TNF-αand ICAM-1in cerebral ischemia-rep erfusion injury.To explore their probable modulation mechanism.Methods Immunohistochemistry was used to ex amine the expression of TNF-αand ICAM-1.The MPO activity was de-termined by spectrophotometry.Result The expression of TNF-αand ICAM-1were obviously rised afte r cerebral ischemia-reperfusion(P <0.05).Conclusion The up-regulation of TNF-αand ICAM-1after cerebral ischemia-reperfusion induced the accumulation of leukocytes,which involved in ischemia-reperfusion i njury mechanism.TNF-αplay an important role in expression of ICAM-1.
