On November 7, 1944, just as the world anti-fascist war was about to be fully victorious, the world famous anti-fascist hero and Soviet intelligence officer Rijk Zurger was taken to the execution ground by Japanese Fascists and sacrificed bravely. Jared Zurger was born in the South Caucasus in 1895. His great-uncle, Friedrich Zolga, was a comrade in arms of Marx and had participated in the Paris Uprising with Engels before exile abroad.
