互联网的兴起带来了翻译产业的第二次革命,作为网民中最具影响力的部分,字幕翻译涉及对象可谓包罗万象,视频字幕对观众理解和学习视频信息起关键作用。然而,公开课观众英语水平不尽相同,观看目的也大相径庭,统一的字幕翻译难以满足观众的不同需求。本文从观众的视角利用目的论结合实例讨论了公开课字幕翻译的常用方法,使该领域的翻译更好服务大众,更有效地利用公开课资源促进国内外文化教育的交流和沟通。
The rise of the Internet has brought about the second revolution in the translation industry. As the most influential part of Internet users, the subtitle translation involves all sorts of objects. Video subtitles play a key role in understanding and learning video information. However, the level of public English audience varies, the viewing purposes are very different, a unified subtitle translation is difficult to meet the different needs of the audience. This essay discusses the commonly used methods of subtitling in open class from the perspective of the audience using the theory of skopos theory and examples so that the translator in the field can better serve the public and make more effective use of the open class resources to promote the exchange and communication of cultural education both at home and abroad.
