关于女性主义廖雯:我想先就一个谈女性艺术好像不能回避的问题即“女性主义”来说明我的立场,以便可以暂时放掉它再来谈你的艺术。我看了《诗书画》第八期评论你的那几篇文章,特别同意寒碧说的仅从“女性主义”的角度无法深入理解你的作品,而我现在讨论中国女性艺术的时候特别不想使用“女性主义”这个概念。以我对西方女性主义的研究,我认为“女性主义”是西方特定时期文化历史土壤里长出的一个洋果子,这个洋果子有与之对应的一整套文化背景,针对性明确的观念、行动、结果,其发生、发展乃至衰落是一个完整的生命
