Motivation can promote effective learning for second language learners and provide sustained motivation for second language learners. Research on second language acquisition motivation has become an important part of second language teaching research. This article will focus on the main content of Drnyei’s second language motivation self-system and its main contribution to the second language acquisition motivation and deficiencies.
