中科院2003-2011年院士遴选不同轮次申请人CNKI/WoS论文H指数等指标的分析表明:H指数在遴选组别中有较好的区分度;G指数、R指数和AR指数可补偿H指数的局限性;∑H核内论文期刊IF/亚类IF可显示遴选组间的差异,在某些组别比较中较H指数更有区分性,遴选首轮上、下组ROC曲线分析提示该指标较其他指标敏感性更高。指标值的高低与学术业绩高低间的关系是相对的,对同一学科专业科学工作者的业绩分类具有可应用性,但不能替代同行评议。
