中国古代酒文化发达,有关“酒与人”称谓的内容十分丰富,相关研究多有涉及,但尚未有专题论述。笔者不揣鄙陋,写就此文,期能拾遗补缺。限于篇幅,所论仅限于以“酒”字为涉酒之人命名者;另外,人们出于爱酒之情,也给酒起了许多拟人化的名称。这些称谓,从一个侧面反映了人和酒的密切关系与中国古代酒文化丰富而有趣的内容。一对管理酒政和酿酒者的称谓酒在国计民生中发挥着特殊的作用,历代政府对酒业的监督管理都十分重视。为了加强酒业管理,一般都设置专门机构或专人掌管。例如,周朝设立专门掌管饮酒之礼的机构,有酒正、酒人、浆人、郁人等职,有中士、下士、府吏、胥、徒、奄等级,共670余人。这些人各司其职,主要是掌管国家重大的国事活动和王室的饮酒。
