由中国建筑科学研究院空调所联合中国预防医学科学院卫生科技开发公司、吴江空气净化设备厂、上海城建学院共同开发的《屏蔽式循环风紫外线消毒器》于1993年6月通过部级鉴定。该消毒器的研制是针对紫外线灯直接照射杀菌存在许多弊端而展开的。该消毒器采用低臭氧紫外线灯,并将其屏蔽于消毒器内,利用风机强制室内空气通过消毒器循环消毒。避免了紫外线照射到人,克服了紫外线照射不均匀的缺点,也无臭氧异味。该消毒器可用于有人在的条件下
The “Shielded Circulating Wind Ultraviolet Sterilizer” jointly developed by the Air-Conditioning Institute of China Academy of Building Research and the Chinese Academy of Preventive Medicine Science and Technology Development Corporation, Wujiang Air Purification Plant, and the Shanghai Urban Construction College passed the departmental appraisal in June 1993.
