美国著名禾草细胞遗传学家杜威博士去岁来华考察后寄奉本文,细读下,深感内容新颖,其分类方法着重禾草的生物学特性和系统发育,非仅以植物形态特征为唯一标准,学术意义,比较全面,因特译出,以飨同行读者。译文中个人在属种名和其它方面作了一些处理,理由于下:1)沙生冰草(Agropyr-on desertorum)以译作沙漠冰草为宜,拉丁文中“arenarium”一字意义才是“沙生”,2)所有表中的种的同名或建议定名均不译,以省篇幅。3)赖草属我国过去禾本科分类书藉习作 Aneurolepidium,现国内学者一般通用 Leymus,暂从此(有将 Leymus 称滨麦并列的)。4)有些非国产的禾草属名,译文中本人均从拉丁文意译,如 Taeniat-herum,Malacurus,Lophopyrum,Thinopyrum 等。是否妥当,尚祈识者予以指正是幸!

The translation of the individual name and other aspects of the species made some treatment, due to the following reasons: 1) desert grass (Agropyr-on desertorum) translated as desert grass is appropriate Latin “arenarium” is the meaning of “sand Health ”, 2) None of the names or suggested names of species in all the tables are translated to save space. 3) Leymus is a kind of Aneurolepidium used by past gramineous classification books in our country. Nowadays, domestic scholars generally use Leymus, temporarily (there is Leymus called Bin Mai together). 4) Some non-domestic grasses belong to the genre. The translations are all translated from Latin, such as Taeniat-herum, Malacurus, Lophopyrum, Thinopyrum and others. It is fortunate that prayers should correct me.
