Taking his English-Chinese poems as examples, there is no lack of misreading of the original works. However, in the process of translating Chinese poetry, Pound persistently explores effective ways to deal with the language and makes an unprecedented contribution to translation theory and practice. He is not rigidly adhere to every word, every point of grammar translation, but rather committed to the re-creation of the original meaning, and strive to convey the charm of Chinese poetry. So Pound’s translation is the reconstruction of Chinese classical works in the sense of creation.
