工人文化宫在现代昆明的遭遇,体现了在现代性的条件下,速度被改造为速度政治。在其催化之下,现代社会的建构方式由记忆主导变为遗忘主导,一直被视为负面、消极的遗忘被赋魅,记忆则被视为包袱和累赘。由此,工人文化宫的存在和拆除就呈现难以解决的悖论:人们虽需要它、记住它,但在社会发展的大环境下,它必须被拆除、被遗忘。这既是工人文化宫的悖论,也是现代性在其发展过程中遭遇的悖论。
The experience of the Workers’ Cultural Palace in modern Kunming shows that speed is transformed into speed politics under the condition of modernity. Under its catalysis, the construction mode of modern society has changed from the dominant memory to the dominant one. It has always been regarded as negative and negative forgotten. Charm is regarded as the burden and cumbersome. As a result, the existence and demolition of the Palace of Culture of workers presents an unmanageable paradox: although people need it and remember it, it must be dismantled and forgotten in the context of social development. This is both the paradox of the Palace of Culture and the paradox encountered by modernity in its development.
