在第三次全国文物普查田野调查工作中,丹东市市直文物普查队在与宽甸满族自治县文物普查队联合对其东部山区进行田野文物遗址调查时,发现两通古代石碑。从外表观察,两通石碑皆具有明碑所特有的造型,并阴刻有明万历年间流行的纹饰。虽然这两通石碑的性质、作用以及碑文所反映的具体内容各不相同,但它们的年代相近,地理位置又同在明宽甸六堡之东,在特定的历史空间上,十分重要,而且二者在内容上也有相应的互补性。因此,尽管碑文略有残缺,但从当时社会环境、地理位置等因素考虑,就确定了此二碑的珍贵历史价值。故将此次新发现的两通石碑披露出来并作考证,以供研究者参考。

Therefore, despite the insignificant inscriptions, the precious historical value of this monument has been confirmed from the factors such as the social environment and geographical location at that time. Therefore, the newly discovered two-way stone disclosed and for research, for researchers reference.
