作为一个学术话题,“现代性”无疑是引人注目的。因为中国在现代化道路上颠簸行进已经100多年了。但是,尽管“现代化”作为一种口号和物质生产发展水准已深入人心,作为一种价值观念和生活方式,却一直处于缺乏理性的意识之中。这也就形成了在思想和实践过程中种种自相矛盾和自我消耗的现象。一次次黑暗中的摸索和盲目的选择都促使我们更加深刻地思考这个问题。于是,“现代性与人”的问题自然而然浮出了水面。现代性不是一个幽灵,更不是一种名词的引进和概念的演绎——如果是这样,“现代性”也就失去了它的生命意义,它是一种与人的生存和心理状态紧密相关,并且由人的具体存在赋予意义的话题。换句话说,现代性离不开人,而唯有人赋予并决定了现代性的学术质量,我们只有把二者结合起来,才能获得更多、更有活力的东西。
As an academic topic, “modernity” undoubtedly attracts attention. It has been more than 100 years since China bump up the road to modernization. However, although “modernization” has enjoyed popular support as a slogan and material production development, it has always been in a sense of lack of rationality as a kind of values and life style. This also creates the phenomenon of self-contradiction and self-consumption in the process of thinking and practice. Time and time again, groping and blind choices have prompted us to think more deeply about this issue. As a result, the question of “modernity and humanity” naturally surfaced. Modernity is not a ghost, nor is it a kind of introduction of nouns and deduction of concepts. If so, “modernity” will lose its meaning of life. It is a kind of relationship closely related to people’s existence and psychological state, And given the meaning of the topic by the concrete existence of people. In other words, modernity is inseparable from human beings. Only by giving and determining the academic quality of modernity can we obtain more and more energetic things only by combining the two.
