古典现实主义小说巅峰之作的《红楼梦》被多次改编为影视剧,原著所蕴含的现实主义美学及中国传统的意境之美,在转换为动态影像的过程中,必然受到影视本体自身美学的制约与影响。邵氏兄弟有限公司以商业性的类型化制作为原则,三次改编《红楼梦》,拍摄出三种不同类型的“红楼电影”。小说中现实主义文学意蕴和中国传统美学受影片类型的影响发生了改换与变形,凸显出三种不同的电影美学。
