As the most basic and most substantive issue in the study of art history, the authors, the time, the place, the style and the content of such works have always been the focus of scholars’ attention. However, due to the humanities nature of the art history itself, most researchers unconsciously ignore the physical features of the artwork themselves, and even ignore the careful and physical observation and study of the works. It seems to us today that the result is that it does not give a complete answer to the question of art history. In the West, the historical research on the physical problems of works of art originated in the 19th century. Their performance was on the study of art materials and techniques, and on the application of high-tech techniques.
