作为公共场合一种重要的文体表现形式,公示语对于我国对外交流以及对外开放具有重要的作用。而随着我国城市化水平的提升以及我国对外经济、文化等方面交流的兴盛,汉语公示语英译工作更是至关重要,对于我国展示对外形象以及优化交往环境具有重要的作用。本文从汉语公示语英译工作中存在的问题出发,对汉语公示语英译策略进行了研究,希望为汉语公示语英译工作提供积极借鉴和建议。
As an important style of expression in public places, the publicity language plays an important role in China’s foreign exchange and opening to the outside world. With the improvement of the level of urbanization in our country and the flourishing exchanges in foreign economy and culture of our country, the English translation of Chinese public signs is of paramount importance and plays an important role in displaying our external image and optimizing the social environment. Based on the problems existing in the English translation of Chinese public signs, this paper studies the strategies of English translation of Chinese public signs and hopes to provide a positive reference and suggestions for the English translation of Chinese public signs.
