《巴黎烧了吗?》是1965年出版的记述第二次世界大战中巴黎解放经过的著名纪实文学作品。两位作者拉莱·科林斯和多米尼克·拉皮埃尔分别为美国《新闻周刊》和法国《巴黎竞赛》画报的记者。为了保证这部作品史料的翔实性,他们花了三年左右的时间搜集资料;查阅有关交战国的军事档案,采访上至战役统帅,下至普通士兵、市民群众800人;并采用了其中536人的亲历资料,故而能做到故事中事事有根据,人人有下落。同时,作品文体发挥了新闻报道的特长,叙述故事生动活泼。扣人心弦,可称一部纪实文学的典范之作。董乐山先生所译的《巴黎烧了吗?》在《世界文学》1995年第2、3、4期连载。全书的中译约27万字。
