以砂轮作笔,用玻璃作画,玻璃雕刻艺术是我国民族工艺美术之林的一朵奇葩,也是浙江最有特色的工艺美术之一,而这一特色工艺的集大成者,恐怕非吴子熊莫属了。吴子熊,1942年出生于浙江仙居,5岁后随父移居椒江(原海门),16岁时进入海门玻璃厂,从此与玻璃雕刻结下了不解之缘。人们难以想象,一个只上过4年小学的人,竟凭着天资聪颖和坚韧不拔的追求,成为独树一帜、蜚声中外的玻璃雕刻艺术大师。吴子熊很小就进了海门玻璃厂,因为技术好,后来在厂里创办了玻璃刻花车间。当时工人们的主要工作就是在玻璃上刻一些儿何图案。三角形、多菱形、四边形,成天就
