付立叶变换红外光谱仪主要测量化合物,特别是有机化合物的分子振动,转动光谱,以实现对物质结构.物质成份和含量的红外光谱分析. 该光谱仪的主要部分是折射扫描干涉仪,是迈克尔逊干涉仪的变形.KBr晶体分柬器及补偿器作成楔形,楔角15°;干涉仪两臂上固定有角反射镜.干涉仪调好后,在分束器上分别透射和反射的红外光束在补偿光楔内产生干涉.当补偿光楔作匀速运动时,干涉仪产生光程差,从而获得干涉图.这种折射干涉仪的优点是机械和热学稳定性好.
