P27蛋白属于细胞周期调控蛋白Cip/kip家族,是细胞周期负性调节因子,在人体多种恶性肿瘤细胞增殖、分化以及细胞凋亡调控中起着非常重要的作用。MAPK和PI3K/PKB信号途径均能够介导P27的降解或失活,其表达的下调与乳腺癌的发生及进展密切相关,故可能是一种新的肿瘤标志物及肿瘤预后指标。P27在乳腺癌的化学疗法、放射治疗以及激素治疗中具有一定的应用价值。通过人工调节p27表达水平及外部干涉p27作用通路可能在乳腺癌的基因疗法中具有广阔的应用前景。
P27 protein belongs to the cell cycle regulatory protein Cip/kip family and is a cell cycle negative regulator. It plays a very important role in the proliferation, differentiation and apoptosis regulation of various malignant tumor cells in humans. Both MAPK and PI3K/PKB signaling pathways can mediate the degradation or inactivation of P27, and its down-regulation is closely related to the occurrence and progression of breast cancer. It may be a new tumor marker and a prognostic indicator of cancer. P27 has certain application value in chemotherapy, radiation therapy and hormone therapy of breast cancer. The artificial regulation of p27 expression level and external interference p27 action pathway may have a broad application prospect in the gene therapy of breast cancer.
