This article presents a pulsed rocket motor with a segmented shell. It has a wedge-shaped component, the segmented shell in place, and can eliminate the free gap between the segments. Inter-segment clearance interferes with or affects the missile’s guidance system, causing the missile to deviate from the target. The middle connector has a radially projecting shoulder surface for mating with the bulkhead assembly in the pulse motor. A firing tube and lighter that charge the rear housing section are connected by a connector that runs through the bulkhead. This obviates the need for fuses installed at the front of the engine to relieve the need for wiring the fuse and other control devices to be routed along the outer surface of the housing.
