初一生物第一册(上)这本新教材与原来初一《植物学》课本相比,许多章节后增编了“课外读”和“动动手”两部分内容。我们在搞好新教材课堂教学的同时,按照生物教学大纲的要求,充分利用教材新内容,组织和指导学生开展生物第二课堂活动,收到了较好的效果。 一、指导“课外读”,开展课外活动 “课外读”中,编者精心设计编写了一些形式多样、生动易懂的小品文,有些短文还附有插图。目的是为了扩大学生的知识面,进行思想教育,培养学习兴趣,提高能力。若顾名思意.“课外读”只供学生利用课余时间去阅读,一般不要求教师课堂讲解。我们根据本校学生的实际情况,对此新内容不放任自流,而采取了以下三种做法:
