学校在面向全体学生,全面提高教育质量的同时,还应对少数智力发展超群出众的优秀生,实行因材施教,培养他们的学习兴趣,为他们提供必要的学习条件,满足他们旺盛的求知欲,并让他们有一点学习上的主动权,以便根据自己学习的需要与可能,安排自己的学习计划,更加生产活泼、主动积极地去攀登高峰。我们不要怕学生“冒尖”,要敢于引导这些学生按照全面发展要求,遵循教育规律,加速其成才的过程,以利于早出人才,快出人才。严弘三次跳级的事实生动地说明了这个道理。但是,必须指出,学生的智力发展是不平衡的,象严弘这样的学生毕竟是极少数,因此,学校对于绝大多数学生,就必须从他们的学习基础和接受能力的实际出发安排教学计划,使其在循序渐进掌握知识的过程中,有效地发展智力,提高能力。有些学校为了片面追求升学率,至今还在大搞突击,拔苗助长,丢掉大多数学生,只顾“拔尖”,我们认为这种做法极为有害,必须立即扭转过来。
