The ordinary tribe in the red army Zhu Fan, formerly known as Lu Huiqing, was born in 1919 in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province and grew up in Shanghai. Her childhood was exactly the time when the disaster of the Chinese nation was heavy. During this period, Zhu Fan was in high school, “September 18th” and “January 28th” incidents happened one after another, stabbing her young and pure soul. In order to support the anti-Japanese soldiers fighting bloody battles in the front, she not only mobilized her family to save her breakfast money, but also led her classmates to the streets to solicit donations from all walks of life. At the same time, she was puzzled by the policy of the Kuomintang government that “it must give priority to peace within the country.”
