On January 10, the Seventh Plenary Session of the 17th CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection concluded in Beijing. General Secretary Hu Jintao delivered an important speech at the meeting and put forward five requirements on “maintaining the purity of the party” in the new situation. Experts point out that both the important speech of General Secretary Hu Jintao and the plenary communique have all conveyed a new signal of fighting corruption and building a clean government.
