《江苏画刊》1985年第7期,发表了时为学生的李小山先生的文章《当代中国画之我见》。一篇不到四千字的短文,在中国画坛引起了轩然大波,全国不少报刊杂志开展了热烈讨论。许多专家、学者,知名不知名的所有关注中国画命运的人都踊跃参加,各抒己见。一向沉寂、宁静的中国画坛颇是热闹了一阵子。讨论文章最后由江苏美术出版社结集出版,达二十余万字,现在重读,仍有许多闪光的东西。只是
