The prose essay “Dandelion” by the Japanese modern female writer, Karui Jung, and the “Communication Seventeen” written by the famous female writer Bing Xin in China are dandelions. The writing background of the two is different. “Dandelion” was written in the post-war period. At that time, the Japanese people generally gained anti-war ideology through their deep reflection on the war. Therefore, this article depicts the writer’s hatred of war, yearning for peace, and love of laborers’ thoughts and feelings through the depiction of specific images of dandelions.
