全国大城市第三次村镇建设研讨会于1996年9月9日至12日在辽宁省省会沈阳市召开。 为筹备这次会议建设部村镇司田世宇司长专程来沈阳指导工作。建设部村镇司技术处处长徐宗威、辽宁省建设厅副厅长徐铁南、沈阳市副市长马向东、沈阳市人民政府副秘书长王维忠、沈阳市建委村镇建设办公室主任王敏杰、沈阳市建委专职委员于灏以及北京、天津、广州、武汉、宁波、沈阳、长春、哈尔滨、南京、成都、青岛等市建委村镇处处长出席了会议。会上大家就大城市如何开展村镇建设工作,怎样发挥大城市经济、科技、人才优势,展开了热烈认真的讨论。 徐宗威处长在会上作了重要讲话。现将讲话内容摘录如下:
The Third National Symposium on Township Construction in Large Cities was held in Shenyang, capital of Liaoning Province, from September 9 to September 12, 1996. In preparation for this meeting, Secretary for Construction and Development Division Secretary Shida Shi made a special trip to Shenyang to guide the work. Xu Zongnan, Deputy Director of Construction Department of Liaoning Province, Ma Xiangdong, Vice Mayor of Shenyang City, Wang Weizhong, Deputy Secretary General of Shenyang Municipal People’s Government, Wang Minjie, Director of Construction Committee of Villages and Towns in Shenyang Municipal Construction Committee, Hao and director of Beijing, Tianjin, Guangzhou, Wuhan, Ningbo, Shenyang, Changchun, Harbin, Nanjing, Chengdu, Qingdao and other cities and towns attended the meeting. At the meeting, everyone held a lively and serious discussion on how to carry out the work of building towns and villages in large cities and how to give full play to the advantages of economy, science and technology and talents in large cities. Director Xu Zongwei made an important speech at the meeting. The speech is now excerpted as follows:
