作为学生来说,大部分学生从小学至初、高中,所接触的体育课程授课方式都是传统的单一授课模式,即以班级为单位集中由指定教师教授授课大纲上规定的指定体育项目。作为学生个体来说,他们只有被教授的权利,而没有自主选择自己感兴趣的课程的权利。那么什么是体育选项课?作为进入高等院校(包括高职院校)的大学生来说,《大学体育选项课教程》里的介绍是:为了逐步推进高等院校体育课选项制度的开展,同时为了贯彻全面素质教育的指导思想,编者根据《全国普通高等学校体育课程教学指导纲要》(简称《纲要》),结合当前大学体育教学内容的改革,旨在不断增强大学生的体育参与意识,提高他们的体育技能和健康行为方式,培养他们进行终身锻炼的好习惯。
