大量的移民、侨民,从北外滩码头进入上海。1922年,爱因斯坦来上海时,正是乘坐日本邮船从汇山码头(属北外滩滨江区域)登陆的。虹口北外滩岸线,紧挨着万国建筑群,站在这里可以看到对岸浦东的摩天大楼和东方明珠,它也与外滩、陆家嘴形成了一个黄金三角。不同于外滩的传统建筑,也迥异于陆家嘴的摩天大楼,虹口滨江建筑群兼具历史与现代的魅力。这里有1846年建的浦江饭店(原礼查饭店),比外滩最老的建筑还老;这里也有正在建设中的白玉兰广场,它比陆家嘴最新的大楼还要新。
A large number of immigrants, overseas Chinese, from the North Bund pier into Shanghai. Hongkou North Bund shoreline, next to the Universal Complex, where you can see the skyscrapers on the other side of Pudong and the Oriental Pearl Tower, it also with the Bund, Lujiazui formed a golden triangle. Unlike the traditional Bund architecture, but also very different from the skyscrapers of Lujiazui, Hongkou Riverside buildings both historical and modern charm. There is Pujiang Hotel (formerly Rize Hotel) built in 1846, which is still older than the oldest building in the Bund. There is also the Magnolia Square under construction, which is newer than the newest building in Lujiazui.
