夜是鲁迅作品中的重要场景,也是鲁迅展开叙述的惯用空间。鲁迅是爱夜的,常有不眠之夜,也多在夜间写作。不眠之夜在鲁迅作品中留下了浓重的痕迹,丰富的夜间生活体验也成为鲁迅写作的有效经验之一。鲁迅对夜的描写堪称细腻、准确,又十分独到。夜在鲁迅的经验和作品里,更多指向的不是具体的时间,而是一个黑暗的、逼仄的空间。将喧嚣的纵时性的历史转化为静默的共时性的空间奇异而突兀地存在,是鲁迅在担负了长期“守夜人”的“职责”之后,所累积的创作经验和萌生的创作才华。
