榆阳区是传统的养殖业大县,年生猪饲养量130万头,羊子饲养量150万只。养殖业的迅猛发展造成了环境污染严重,对畜牧业自身可持续发展带来了影响,同时也对畜产品的安全构成威胁。积极发展“畜-沼-菜、畜-沼-粮”的循环生态模式,是解决养殖场粪污处理问题,保障榆阳区畜牧业健康发展的需求,同时也是发展生态节约型、环境友好型、资源循环型社会的需要。沼气工程建设正是把可再生能源技术和高效农业技术结合起来,呈现“资源-产品-再生资源”的反馈式闭环流程,以低开采、高利用、低排放的方式,以最小的资源和环境成本,取得最大的经济社会效益。
