Introduction The STAR-100 Computer (short for STring ARray) is a large, high-speed computer system that performs logical and arithmetic operations. It uses integrated circuits and many advanced technologies such as stream processing, virtual addressing, macros implemented in hardware, and register sets made up of semiconductor memories. The STAR-100 also specifically designed to achieve a single binary, bit (composed of 8 binary), 32-bit or 64-bit floating-point numbers and vectors for serial and parallel operation of pipeline computing and operating components. In the virtual addressing using high-speed look-up table method to the logical address of the memory is converted to the actual address. The smallest CDC STAR-100 computer consists of a CPU with a capacity of 524,288 words (64 bits / word)
