The First Standing Committee of the 6th Foundry Branch of the China Mechanical Engineering Society and the 14th Meeting of the Secretary-General (1999) were held at South China University of Technology from December 8th to 11th, 1999. The Executive Director and the Secretary General attended the meeting. 40 people. The meeting was chaired by the deputy chairman and Professor Wang Junqing. Chairman of the Board of Directors Zhao Lixin made an opening statement and gave an overview of the work of the Institute over the past year to the members of the meeting and the Secretary General.
